Lautoka, unlike most other Tootle products, was not a model of a specific prototype but was of course crafted to the same high standards as our scale models.  Lautoka is reminiscent of many of the  Hudswell Clarke locos that ran in the cane fields of Fiji and Australia.

Specifications
Lautoka is a body, tender and conversion kit to complement the Roundhouse Lady Anne boiler and chassis kits.  The body and tender come assembled and primed ready to paint.  You are required to assemble the Roundhouse boiler and chassis kits utilising the conversion components where appropriate.  The body is then added to provide an appealing and different tender locomotive.  Lautoka features a laser cut steel body and chassis with appropriately cast domes, stack and details.  This is not just a screw together kit and the usual work for a Roundhouse kit loco will be required.

The resulting engine gives the familiarity and ease of running a Roundhouse locomotive with the the look of an Australian or Fijian narrow gauge loco and the quality of a Tootle Engineering product.
