Rolling Stock

Tootle Engineering is dedicated to the production of accurate, high quality, 16mm scale narrow gauge and 1/32 scale standard gauge (Gauge 1) models of locomotives and rolling stock from Australia and nearby countries. Produced in Australia, the models are ready to run or kit form as appropriate and are designed by master model maker Tim Boulton.

Tootle works closely with Argyle Locomotive Works and other manufacturers, where appropriate, to ensure that their models achieve the high level of operability, safety and quality to which Tootle aspires.

LATEST NEWS

Tootle Engineering is like many other model suppliers, a cottage industry. From time to time it becomes necessary to look after the cottage rather than the industry and so it is with Tootle.

Effective immediately, no further orders or expressions of interest can be taken and this is will be the case until some time anticipated to be in the first quarter of 2009.

A limited number of NSWGR Gauge 1 kits remain ex stock but no 16mm narrow gauge items are available or can be ordered.

Existing orders and expressions of interest will be honoured and continued to be worked on as time permits. Development work on the NSWR Gauge One line will continue and fresh stock will be available when we are once again open for orders.
