The protoype

John Pearces Philadelphia "Oscar" on the Rails in
the Garden portable layout.
The first picture features Oscar beside the cover of the
Roundhouse magazine featuring Philadelphia

John Pearce's
Gibbergunyah Creek Railway features an exquisite replica model of
the NSW station Exeter. The first picture shows John's
Forney 'Sandy' and Philadelphia 'Oscar' resting at this station
while the second shows 'Oscar' steaming through Exeter on
excursion duties.

John Bell's #9
"Penny" standing at Pogwater on the Buna Plantation
Tramway. Penny had just been outshopped from the BPT Works
where she was built from the Argyle machinists kit. Don't
miss the very nice lower quadrant semaphore in the third photo.

Paul Blake's
"Louisa" built from a machinists kit and drawings.
Seen here running on his friend's line in Capalabar QLD,
Louisa has been fitted with radio control all of which is
contained within the bunker.
Stephen Cox's Philadelphia at the
Berowra & Nalya and on the RITG Operations Group layout at the
2002 Liverpool exhibition pulling a train of modified Mamod
wagons.
Tim Boulton's
Philadelphia 32mm gauge with full Stephenson's valve gear.
Only the frames, wheel blanks, smokebox door and modified
cylinders came from Argyle Locomotive Works. The rest
was fabricated by Tim in the quest for even greater fidelity to
the prototype drawings.

Pressed into
revenue service before the paintshop could get to her, Tim
Boulton's Philadelphia was eventually painted green as shown.
