FEATURES
As the C622 is the most famous type of steam locomotive in Japan,
ASTER is releasing a third production run of this popular Gauge 1
model. It is manufactured to more stringent specifications and with more
detail than the previous two versions. Highlights of this third
run include:
- 1/30 Scale Gauge 1 Live Steam Locomotive
- Coal / gas firing burner
- New type drain valve fitted
- Drivers equalised with leaf springs made
with leaf metal enabling accurate adjustment
- Fully detailed with snow plough
- Minimum Radius 2 metres - first coal firing model capable of
negotiating this small a curve.
- Fully equalised pilot track and drivers, exactly as on the
prototype
- Large whistle fitted - same type as on
the H8 Allegheny
Operational enhancements:
- All working pipes and peripheral components
fully
re-designed and positioned to ease maintenance
- User friendly blower and regulator valve
operation.
- Screw type reverser installed just as in
the prototype.
- Wide fire box hole makes coal firing
easy.
